11 chapters. Greek word studies. The argument that changes everything.
For decades, popular theology taught the faithful would be raptured before tribulation. Bestselling novels dramatized it. Eighty million copies sold. Prophecy conferences repeated it. Study Bible notes embedded it on the same page as scripture until no one could tell where the Word ended and the commentary began. But the verse says the opposite.
Be The Wheat! is the foundational case. Greek exegesis, word-by-word analysis, Strong's Concordance verification on every term. The tares are gathered first (proton, G4413). The wheat remains. The verse is Matthew 13:30, and it says what it says.
This is post-tribulation premillennialism. The oldest position in the church, held by Irenaeus, Justin Martyr, Tertullian, the men taught by the apostles or by students of the apostles. The pre-tribulation framework is less than 200 years old. Margaret MacDonald, 1830. Darby. Scofield, 1909. Hal Lindsey, 1970. LaHaye, 1995. A young tradition wearing old clothes.
Written by a man who read the text himself, not books about the text. Direct, conversational, urgent. Not an attack on your faith. A return to the source of it.
11 chapters from parable to proof
What this book is, what it is not, and why a man who ran from ministry for years stopped running.
How Margaret MacDonald, Darby, Scofield, and 80 million copies of fiction turned a young theory into assumed gospel.
The parable of the wheat and the tares. Matthew 13:24-30. The verse that starts everything.
Yeshua interprets His own parable for the disciples. Matthew 13:36-43. No guesswork required.
John the Baptist's warning and the pattern of judgment that begins at the root.
The parable of the dragnet. Same sequence, different metaphor. The bad are severed from among the just.
Matthew 24:37-41. The flood took the wicked. Noah remained. "Taken" is not rescue. It is judgment.
1 Thessalonians 4-5, 2 Thessalonians 2. The apostasia, the man of sin, and the gathering that cannot happen until after.
Apantesis (G529). Not an evacuation. A civic escort. The citizens go out to meet the arriving King and return with Him.
Matthew 25. The ones who were ready and the ones who were not. Separation at arrival, not before departure.
Aphiemi (G863). The word for "left" is the word for "forgive." Left behind is not the curse. It is the inheritance.
The call. Stand. Endure. Bear fruit. When the harvest comes, be gathered into His barn.
Greek word studies verified through Strong's Concordance
"First" in Matthew 13:30. Gather ye together first the tares. The removal sequence is explicit. The wicked go first. The Greek does not whisper this. It states it.
"Left" in Matthew 24:40-41. The same Greek word used for "forgive" and "release" throughout the New Testament. To be left is to be released. To be left is to be forgiven.
"To meet" in 1 Thessalonians 4:17. A technical Greco-Roman civic reception term. Citizens go out to greet an arriving ruler and escort him back to the city. Not an evacuation. An escort.
"Caught up." Sudden seizure. The word describes the act of being grabbed, not the destination. Context determines meaning. The destination is determined by the apantesis: back to earth with the King.
"Keep from" in Revelation 3:10. Same construction as John 17:15, where Yeshua prays the Father would keep believers from the evil one. Not removal from the world. Protection in it. He said so Himself, one book earlier.
